I am having trouble printing a Publisher 2003 file in pdf format.
The file has linked images that are CMYK.
In the print dialogue box, when I click on the "Advanced Print Settings"
button, the "Separations" dialogue box appears. I select under "Ouput" the
choice "Composite CMYK."
When I go to print the file in distiller, the "Save PDF File As" dialog box is
never displayed. The file seems to be processing, but never displays a pdf
file and I cannot find a pdf file that is created.
In contrast, if in the print dialogue box, I click on the "Advanced Print
Settings" button and when the "Separations" dialogue box appears I select
under "Ouput" the choice "Composite RGB" I can easily create a pdf file.
Why do I have a problem creating a pdf file in composite CMYK? (I need CMYK
because this is going to an offset press)
Thanks for your help.
