Publisher 2003 printing problems

We have an HP 2600n attached to a computer on our network that is shared to
all computers. That computer is running on XP Home. There is a problem with
other computers on the network printing certain older version Publisher
documents to this printer. Publisher says it must close and be restarted. The
documents can be printed on other network shared printers without this
problem. The drivers are up to date for the 2600n. Any ideas on why this is
happening and how to fix it?
