Publisher 2003

Yes, situation normal.
It is next to impossible to stop it.
You will have to have *identical* fonts and printer driver version
installed.
Don't let anybody tell you Publisher 2000 is printer driver independent - it
is not. It is better than previous version by a large margin, but certainly
not a 100%. Publisher 2000 along with Publisher 98 were mega dogs of a
product in any case and don't know why you are using such sub-standard
software.

Since only Publisher will open a Publisher file, I'm curious which
program in Office XP are you using to view a Pub 2003 file.

And I'm curious as to where you read that the OP was trying to open the file
in Office XP.
;-)

Ooooops - 2000. Either way, never answered which program he was
trying to use.

Office 2000 SBE, Pro and Premium all came with Publisher 2000.
