Publisher 98 "Cannot Open File"

C

Carol

Have been using my data file just fine for the last 2
years. Did envelopes with it yesterday. Added 30 names
today, merged and printed fine. Went back in to delete 2
records. Instead of opening my file -- which still shows
up in windows explorer as 186kb -- error message says:
CANNOT OPEN FILE. Note: does NOT say: CANNOT FIND FILE.

186kb may not seem big to you, but means lot to me. Is
there ANOTHER tool to open this with, just to get the info
out or to print a copy. Am K making sense? Thanks.

Might look in your temp files, Publisher creates a temporary file. Or try opening
"files of type", scroll down to "recover text from any type"

Carol, feel free to send me the file so I can look at it. (e-mail address removed)
