Here at my office we are running Office 2007 SP1, I don’t have the freedom to
install SP2, and our IT department handles that and are in charge of 5000 or
more computers in the two office buildings here. Anyhow, last week I was
working on a publisher 2007 file, it was 36 pages, images and tons of text. I
had finished the file and wanted to copy it to our network drive, after that
the file wouldn’t open on the network drive nor the c:\. All I get is
publisher cannot open this file. I read
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972566 but that talked about an error which
provides an error code. I don’t have any error code. This file isn’t the
only file, someone else a friend of mine on my floor at the same issue with
another file. Same error message. Now here’s the odd part, both files open
PERFECTLY in Publisher 2003….I’ve tried to save as and then open It again in
2007 but it doesn’t work. Anyone have any ideas?
