Publisher crashes when printing

Can anybody offer any help.... I'm running Publisher (2002), and a printing
problem has slowly manifested itself over the last few months.
Now everytime I print ANY Publisher document, the document will print but
Publisher will then crash, with the standard "encountered an error" message
appearing.
I have reinstalled Publisher - made no difference.
I have all updates installed.
All my printer drivers work fine with all other products.
I have send countless error reports to Microsoft, never heard anything back.
I can now no longer use Publisher for anything I want to print(!). Any help
anyone can offer much appreciated...

You will never hear anything back from Microsoft. Have you updated your
printer drivers? Just because they work fine with other programs doesn't
mean they will with Publisher.

All my printer drivers work fine with all other products.

Publisher is picky about its drivers - just because everything else works,
doesn't mean the drivers are perfect and/or will work with Publisher.

I suggest updating your printer drivers. Does this issue appear with all
printers?

This is because the error reports you send off are *anonymous* (and are
clearly stated as being so - otherwise far fewer people would submit them).
Microsoft cannot afford to fix every bug reported in every error message
anyway, they would have to target their efforts on common issues.
