had set up some envelopes in publisher with logo and return address and
printing them out on a epson 740 with no problem. then bought this 8250 for
doing photos and tried printing one for a bill and the printer used three
envelopes and partially printed the job on each envelope, that was when i
contacted hp and they had me go through all these gyrations to fix the
problem none of which seemed to make sense to me, then they said i said there
seemed to be a problem between the printer and publisher thats when i decided
to try word and found i had no problem printing the envelope. so now i know
what the problem is but hp said to contact microsoft so obviously they have
resolved the problem that way and since i have found threads about this on
the web i know i am not crazy although i would like to know why you are
having no problem.

I added a custom size, named it no. 10. For some reason I have not figured out,
Publisher or the printer balks at the automatic No.10 envelope default; it
treats it as a label!

So, in the printer dialogue, select #10 envelope, in the quick sets choose an
unique name, save. In page setup, select custom, you may have to click
landscape. This should work...

well i tried everything you suggested and nothing different happens. the
program wants to print three pages with part of the job on each page.
