publisher printing

I am having a problem printing banners with Publisher
2000. It often skips letters or does not print the border.
Any suggestions?

The border probably isn't printing because the frame is too big. Publisher
2002 and later address this issue.
I cannot imagine why letters are being skipped though. Are you using
WordArt or a text frame?
Have you tried updating your printer drivers?
