What version Publisher? Have you saved the template as a template? In Save as
"files of type" scroll down to Publisher Template. The next time you need it, it
will be ready when you go File and click new...

Hi thank you for answering my question . yes ! i have already done that
,but when i bring up the templete it starts out at page one . what i am
trying to do is insert my templete into my blank publication. i have windows
xp and publisher 2003 and i have tried to do it several ways. i start out
make basic design of 13 pages and because my publication has the same format
every time i created page one as a templete , page two as templete and page
three as a templete so i wouldn't have to type in all the same intinery week
after week . hope this has helped you and thanks once again for your answer.
regards brian

If I understand you correctly, you will have to insert pages before and after
your template. Open your template, Insert pages, you can put new pages anywhere
within your document.

If you are trying to combine templates, I don't think you can. You can open two
instances of Publisher and do a copy/paste. You can save text boxes and images
as Design Gallery images, they will be part of the saved templates. You will be
able to insert them from the Gallery. You can create master pages. There are
many different ways to create what you are trying to do.

I have started with a templete which became page one of the publication then
proceeded to insert template no. 2 for page two but it started off at page
one again. i cant seem to get them together to start off the publication.
maybe I am doing it all wrong as I am only learning. thanks for yout time

Brian, You cannot combine templates in the way you are trying to do. Open both
templates in two different publications, insert a page, copy/paste into the
other. Save the results as a template with a different name.
