Publisher website, question on linking documents done in Excel

S

Sandy

I created a website in publisher and have it uploaded (still working out a
few kinks, but for the most part it is working as intended).

www.gscnc90-5.com

My website is hosted using OfficeLive. I have pointed the links to the
correct path:

www.gscnc90-5.com/files/<file name>

The PDF files seem to work fine, however I have an Excel file on the
Training page that when it trys to open it asks for my OfficeLive
login/password. If I hit cancel the popup box goes away.

Question is, how do I get this Excel file to to open without asking for the
OfficeLive info? (sorry, it is a Publisher question but long)

This is not a publisher issue. Your link is correct and the form does open
after I hit cancel. This is an issue for your hosting service.

While we are here talking about your spreadsheet, I recommend that you save
it in an earlier excel format "XLS" as you have saved it in office 2007
and users of earlier versions may not be able to open it.

Thanks Spike for the suggestion...I will save it to a lower version...I was
beating my head against the desk for no reason (well other than it has
something to do with the hoster). thanks again
