Publishing site

I am currently using an FTP program (not FP) tp publish and of course can not
use the FP extensions within FP. I have several folders within the website
that I do not want to publish which I can do with the FTP program but not FP.
My question is: Is there a way to publish using FP without having to publish
all of the folders within the site? I do know that you get a pop-up window
that asks about certain things, but this takes too long. I also know that you
can assign "no publish" to pages, but don't have that option with folders.
Help?

Why are you using FTP to upload your site? If you could publish with
FrontPage, and if your host supports subwebs, you could convert the folders
you don't want to publish into subwebs.

With FP you can only mark files within the folder to Don't Publish.

Jimcoaddins.com has a free add-in called Selective Publish where you can
select a folder not to Publish.

Thank You Kathleen,
I talked to my host and they do support subwebs so I will fix the site using
them. Again Thank You.
