Pushing Outlook e-mail to phone

I am setting up a company at home and need some help. I have Office 2007
and always on connection to the internet. I pretty much always leave
outlook up and running. I am forwarding my Yahoo e-mail to Outlook on my
home computer. I would like to push that e-mail to my phone. Do I need to
buy and install MS Exchange Server? I am not sure what to do?

That might depend on your phone capabilities and what type of account the
yahoo one is, ie pop or imap
Outlook in itself cannot push the mail anywhere other than by setting up a
rule to send mail to a diffent addy

Sync; depends again on your phone

E-mail clients, such as MS Outlook, can't "push" email anywhere. They can
send it, using an SMTP message submission server, or they can pull it, using
a POP3, or IMAP server.

It sounds like you probably need an IMAP account, from which you can pull
email using different connections and devices.
