Putting office on new computer

How do I transfer office to my new computer? Do I need to un-install it off
the old one? Or do I simply put my Office softwar disk into my new computer
and install it for the second time? Can this be done? I read somewhere that
there is a limit of 3 installations...is that correct?

It depends on the specific version as to what the licence aggreement is, and
also whether its a retail version, or one supplied when you purchased the PC

It's Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007...and I purchased it retails from a
store. Thanks for your reply :)

H&S allows for 3 concurrent installations
If you are disposing of the old PC uninstall it from the old
Install on the new, haveing first uninstalled any trial version & its
activation assistant and rebooted
