PWA Showing deleted Task

After deleting unwanted task in Project Pro (project on Project Server), it
still is listed in PWA Tasks - it notes that it is deleted, etc.

Is this to be always the case? Deleted but remains in PWA?

I had the same question (which should be posted in the "Server" newsgroup).
Anyway, the PWA user can hide it, and the will not see it again (unless you
re-publish assignements - I think). To hide the task, they need to highlight
the task, then click on the "hide" button. Or you can delete the entire
project plan from the server and re-import it on the server. If you do this,
remember to save the plan as a .mpp file first, then delete the plan from the
server, then re-import it. I am not sure if this is the best way to do this,
but this is how I did it.
