Query about access right settings to allow office automation

I have built some code on my home PC that runs in excel and drags
information from word - it also interfaces with an access database. When I
tried to run it on my work PC I get errors stating that administration
rights are required. Unfortunately I don't have access to the actual error
as I am now at home.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how this problem might be
worked around. Are there any settings that need to be changed to allow
office automation to work without the need for admin rights?
