I have a query through form that worked perfectly in
Access-97 and is not working in XP.
The record source of my form is a query that links a
local table (that has three fields: loan number,
determination date, and prior determination date) and an
ODBC Microsft SQl Server table. The loan numbers and
determination dates are linked in both tables. In my form
I would have the loan number and determination date
fields from the local table, all other fields were from
the ODBC table. If wanted to change the loan number or
determination date, I would simply type the new data in
the field, hit enter and I would get the data requeried
and no problem all the data needed was there. Now in XP
it tells me that there is no data for my record in the
ODBC table when I know is there.
I tried the following things:
1) Created a new database with new tables, form etc.,
thinking something got corrupt in the conversion process,
but no results.
2) Checked all my settings, downloaded the new service
pack, no results.
3) Checked for articles of this sort and found nothing.
What is going on? please help.
Thanks!
