Querying in Project

I've heard there are query capabilities within MS Project
2002. Has anyone used these and is it easier than
exporting to Excel and manipulating? I looking for new
ways to get different cuts on data.

It doesn't have querying as in SQL or like Microsoft Access works, but
it does have filtering, groups, and tables which can be set to define a
view ... not sure this is what you are expecting...

You can query directly to the SQL database. We are using
ASP pages for custom reports for the things we can't
slice and dice in Analyzer or Project/Resource center
views.

Do you have a good resource for table layouts and some
good queries for slicing/dicing? Thanks
