Question about Microsoft offers (O.T.)

C

Carrie

I've been wondering about this, and don't know of a ng to ask about it on.
I know people here cross post on other MSN ng and might know about it.
Not a big deal but...
I get "special offers" in my email that say they are from MSN and I somehow
subscribe to get these. There's a link to unsubscribe (I always think doing
this just shows them they've reached a legit email address) I finally
clicked on it today and there's nothing there. Page cannot be displayed.

The "offers" are for Viagra and anti depresssants, and such. I really doubt
it's anything Microsoft has anything to do with, unless they sell email
addresses from the newsgroups. Probably someone gets the email addresses
from the groups and adds it's from MSN.

It says under the ad, showing the pills one can supposedly buy via
email...(Viagra, Cialis, etc)

The Return address says "Viagra Official Store" or "Viagra Genuine Store"
etc

I wonder if anyone else who participate on the ngs gets these? I get one,
sometimes more, per day. Usually for the same stuff, Viagra and other
(prescription) drugs.
I usually just delete ethem, but if theye're NOT from Microsoft, I doubt
the company would want them claiming they somehow are.
Maybe there is an email address I could forward them to (at MSN)?
