quit changing works word processing document encoding

Pingin

I hate when I am working with Microsoft Works, and have to save it, and go to
my dads house, and his version of Works will not load it. Quit screwing up
my capabilities to do homework!

Even if this is posted as a "suggestion to Microsoft," it is OT in a *Word*
NG. You need to post it in microsoft.public.works.win (to which I am
cross-posting).

Thank you Suzanne,

Hi Pingin,

Perhaps use File>'Save As' and 'File of type' options to save in a
format common to both machines ( Works 4 / rtf etc.)

An example:
