Re-Installing Office 97

How can one COMPLETELY uninstall Office 97, so I can start
from scratch?

I have a problem with a WORD where I lost the FILE tab and
a problem with EXCEL where it hangs for awhile when
exiting. I went through System add/remove process.
However, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't solve it.
After reinstalling everything looks the same as before the
uninstall.
