Hi Zaheen,
A couple of pointers...
1) It's a good idea, if you are going to answer a post, to make sure that
no-one else has posted the same answer. Posting a short answer when someone
else has already said the same thing and then added a lot more detail can be
annoying to some residents of the group. Click [+] next to a message to see
the conversation tree, where you can read all the replies to the messages.
2) When you reply, it's an idea not to start writing on a line that starts
with ">". Start typing on a blank line. Starting on a line that begins
with > makes it look like part of the quoted text (and some newsreaders wil
colour-code the posts based on how many >s there are, and so your text is
colour-coded to look like part of the quote)
3) Using the web interface is not normally as convenient as using a local
newsreader such as Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird or Forte Agent. Try
clicking this link: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.publisher
If you do want to continue using the web-based newsreader, I would suggest
adding "Re:" (without the quotes) to the start of the subject line of a
reply that you make to a post.
