rebuild xp - what do I do with office 2003?

I need to rebuild my daughter laptop - the xp system is all screwed up. Do I need to de-activate office 2003 first or anything? How do I re-activate it? Do I need to write down any numbers first or anything

Ensure you have ALL the disks for both WinXP and Office, including ID's,
before doing anything!!
