Rec'd email w/att. No Powerpoint. How to open att.

I received an email with a Powerpoint 2000 attachment. I do not have
Powerpoint.

How can I open my attachment?

I do not want to buy Powerpoint. I am a neophyte, and only use computer for
email and games. I do not even know the proper technical terms, not do I
care to learn.
