Receiving all emails and atachments as HTML files

I have a client that is receiving most emails and
attachments as html files, even though they were not sent
that way. I know there obviously has to be a setting to
determine how Outlook is supposed to view the incoming
email, but as far as I can see, everything is set up OK.
Any help would be much appreciated - thanks.
