Receiving assigned Outlook Tasks

I am assigning task from my USAF computer to my home computer to allow me to
sync to my PDA. My home Outlook 2003 receives the task a basic email. I can
assign a task from home and my USAF computer will receive it as a valid task
request. What setting do I need to allow my home computer to receive a valid
task request. Also, updates to task I sent from home to work will not open.
Help...

Without knowing your Outlook version from work, an answer is impossible. Generically speaking, ensure you are sending RTF formatted items.

The USAF computer is running Outlook 2003...I don't know the server version
though...The USAF is in a pilot program with MS on a standard desktop
configuration...SDC...The USAF no longer allows me to sync the PDA, so I am
trying to find a work around by sending to my home computer....

Then ensure you set your email address to receive RTF formatted messages.

I got similar problem with english outlook2003.
I can succesfully assing task to other members in my team which are using
polish versions of outlook 2003 and outlook2007 however I can't accept/reject
assign task sent by them to me
Buttons "accept" "reject" looks working but clicking on them dont make any
reaction and i can add it to my task list.
