E-mail report using Lotus Notes rather t

Hi,

I it possible to create a new macro in a form. Basically I there are
certain fields in the form that I would like to duplicate for an another
form. Is this possible to record the field I want to duplicate in a macro
recording in a form?

Not quite sure what it is that you're asking. Can you restate the question
please?

Hi zkid,

I have three form created in MS Word. There about 34 fields on average on
each form. However, there are about 10 fields that are identical in all of
the forms. What I am trying to do is use a macro to record only the fields
that are identical for each of the form. So when I populate the first form i
can use a macro of some kind and record the identical fields and then open
the 2nd and 3rd form and activate the macro to automatically populate the
identical fields in form 2 and 3. Is it possible to use macro instead of
userform? I actually experimented with the recording of macro but I was not
able to make it work. When I lock the form fields so I can begin populating
the form, the create macro does not work or inactive. So, I am not even sure
if macro works on capturing fields being pupulated in a form.

Okay, I'm still confused here. I not sure what you mean by "recording a
field."

Are you trying to copy the entire field code, or just its result (e.g., what
the user types in)?

Also, are we talking about formfields, or field codes?
