dave

hi, all. i had to have an illigal copy of windows removed from this computer,
i asked the people in the repair shop to save "everything". i think they did,
the trouble is i can not get a lot of items out of a file they made on my
"C". microsoft office is the most needed, for i need my "word". for several
items in there, i have given up, and have gone on the web and re-downloaded
it. but office is too dear for me to go buy. i would like help to get my
"office" out of the files they are in. i phoned the repair shop, they want
more money to recover the items in the file. after i find office, and click
my way down to office 10 i get the message, "microsoft word has not been
installed for current user. (i am the only user of this computer) please run
set up to install the application. can any one advise, please.

You want us to assist you in using a stolen copy of Office? Sorry, we don't
assist thieves. If you can't understand a simple error, written in plain
English, then I suggest you pack up your PC, sell it, and buy a PlayStation.

You want Office, you *buy* Office. You want Word only, then the Works Suite
is £100.
