Recurring Hammock Tasks ??

Is it possible to set an end for a recurring task so that it will
automatically change based upon the end date of another task and therefore
automatically add or delete specific instances of the occurrence.
I probably have not explained this well but perhaps an example.
There is a recurring two day duration task each month for month-end reports.
If the project end date slips out by six months can the extra six instances
of monthly reports be added automatically.

I don't think it is possible but it is worth asking anyway
