Recurring Outlook Tasks

Normally when an employee makes a change to non-recurring tasks that are assigned to them it will automatically send me a task update.
But I do not get automatic updates on recurring tasks that are assigned to an employee when they make changes to the task. They have to send a task status report.

Is there a way to get assigned recurring tasks to automatically send tasks updates when a user makes changes and clicks on "save and close"?
