recurring Tasks

I'm using Project 2003 w/ sp2.
When I enter a recuring task for a staff meeting every Friday through Jun 08
for 1 hr, I get an entery of 8 everyday. This is how it shows in the
Resource usageage againist the attendee resources.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Don't assign the resource to the recurring task (which in fact is not a
task, but a summary task).
Open the task by clicking the + sign
Assign the resoruce to the detail tasks.
