I working with the project server and project pro 2003. I set up a graphic
indicator using the Text1 field and based it off the "status" field in
project. That works fine. The problem I have is that in order for the
status field and the indicator to update you have to open the project and
actually change one of the tasks.
So if you don't go into the project for a week or two all of the indicators
are actually out of date- not exactly what you want to present on an exec
dashboard.
Does anyone know how you update all of your projects daily without opening
each one manually? Do you have to write a routine to open and update at
night? Is there another field that I should be using that gets updated on
project server?
I noticed by the postings that a lot of people are using the same fields as
I did? Are you having the same problem?
Thaks for your help.
