i bought one office... a few years pass and then, not thinking that i had it,
i go out and buy another one( because i rarely, if ever needed it). now i am
not sure if the second one is registered. how can i find out? i want to give
it to an assistant of mine. if microsoft doesn't have a way to tell me, is
there a way, that once i put the disc in my computer, will open up and inform
me? i would like for my assistant to have the product registered in his name.
what can i do?
thank you! lynn

did you install both of them or is one still not installed? If yes, give
the one that is not installed to your assistant.

If it is installed, uninstall it from your machine and give it to your
assistant. If the assistant is unable to activate it using the Internet
(should work fine, however) then use the telephone method.
