Reinstall Office 2003 on New PC

Originally I had Office 2003 installed on two Win 98
pc's. Recently I replaced the old pc's with new one's
running Win XP home and reinstalled office XP on the new
pc's. Now I am having problems sharing an Access file
that I could share before. Everything is set to share
but I am getting read only errors. Could this be caused
by reinstalling the Office app on the new pc's? What is
the process for moving an Office XP app from one PC to a
new PC? Thanks for the help. Mike

Office 2003 will not install on Windows 98. Do you mean Office XP? If yes,
then the rest of your post makes sense.

What sharing options did you set up on the Windows XP installations? Under
Windows Explorer (or Control Panel - Folder Options), uncheck the option for
simple file sharing.
