Hi. I must be doing something wrong but when I look at the
roll up of hours the subtotal seems quite a bit higher
than the actual addition of the hours. For example:
Remaining Hours Subtotal (per MS Project): 88
Remaining Hours Subtotal (per my addition): 44
Task 1: 4 hours
Task 2: 4 Hours
Task 3: 4 hours
Task 4: 8 hours
Task 5: 8 hours
Task 6: 8 hours
Task 7: 8 hours
I have only one person assigned to these tasks--same
resource for all the tasks in this case. The Task is set
to FIXED UNITS with EFFORT DRIVEN checked.
What am I doing wrong? I have a more complex project with
subprojects and the total of Remaining Work is so far off
that I can't use it. All help is appreciated.
Thanks.
