Remote Connections from Project Pro

Hi,

I have set up a Project Web Server at my home office. I have about 10 users
that will need to access the Project Web Server with Project Pro, uploading
projects and related documents. The issue that I am having is that I can
connect to the project web server with my copy of Project Pro, but since I am
on the same network, it is fairly simple, but my remote users cannot. The
remote users can connect to my Project Web Server through IE with no
problems, But they cannot get their copy of Project Pro connected to my
server. I need some help on what are some options that I can do to accomplish
this. I am using Windows2003 as my server and using Project Pro and Server
2003

Thanks

to do this you would need to have port 1433 open on your firewall and so
would they. This will NEVER happen if your (and their) admin is smart. The
best way to do this is to setup a terminal server. sorry.

Would setting up a VPN Connection to my home office suffice?

From a ports standpoint it would but performance would be the next
problem. perf over a low bandwidth or high latency connection is poor. A
terminal server is going to be your only way around this. sorry

So in a TS Environment, I would need both the Project Web Server and the
Project Pro Application on the same machine (Which is what I have now -
Project Web, Sharepoint)

Is there any thing to keep in mind while I set up the TS on the Server that
I plan on using?

Thanks

well best case the server and the project Pro client are not on the same
box, for performance reasons but I suppose that would work. That box is
going to get a little busy.
