remote users mailbox very large. best offline solutions wanted

I have a remote user running MS Outlook 2003 off an Exchange 5.5 server. This
user keeps all emails and is hesitant about deleting some emails. Questions
is what is the best solution to eleviate the amount of time it takes up to
log on to our exchange server outside of the company. The user unfortunately
lives in an area with only Dial-up service. What can i do as far as just
offlining a certain folder he can push everything to and would eliminate a
long sync time with the exchang server. Any Idea's solutions are greatly
