Removal of previous versions of Office

B

Brian

I am running Windows XP Home with SP2 installed.
Originally, I was running office 2000. I then installed Office XP and
finally, a few months ago, I installed Office 2003.
Last night, while I was in "add/remove programs", I noticed that it still
shows Office 2000 & Office Xp in the remove programs window, as well as
Office 2003.
Can I use "add/remove programs" to uninstall Office 2000 & Office Xp or
should I leave it alone.
Also, the version of Office XP that I have includes FrontPage, which is not
part of my Office 2003 install. Can I uninstall the rest of Office XP, but
retain FrontPage.
Thanks, in advance for any assistance offered.

Brian

Hi, Brian. If it isn't broken, don't fix it. If you uninstall the older
versions, you will probably lose the Office Shortcut Bar, and you might lose
the Office XP Proofing Tools and Input Method Editors if you have those
installed. You might lose other applications too.
