Remove actual work entries

I have a updated project where the actual work entries have been entered up
to the must finish on constraint date. It is unclear how this happened but I
would like to remove the actual work entries and I have been unable to do do.
If I change actual work to zero, then work gets changed to zero. If I then
put data into the work field, then the actual work field gets updated with
the same value. My constraint for the task is Must Finish On date. Is there
a way to remove the actual work entries?
