remove an unwanted page in a document

Office 2000, Windows XP Home
When I excede the margin of a single page document, a second page is
automatically added. After changing doc. to fit on 1 page, the second page
remains. How do I remove the second blank page? I know this is probably
simple, but I can't figure it out. Thanks, Gotstuf2do

Place the cursor directly after the last character on the first page and
press delete until the second page disappears..
