Removing Blank Space on Gantt Chart

I have a file I copied from an old Project. I changed the dates moving them
out several months. Now there is several months of blank space in the gantt
chart starting with the old start date. How do I get rid of it?

Try changing your projects start date. Click on Project, then Project
Information. Change your projects start date here.

Just another thought. You might want to open the old project schedule
again, and change the project start date first. If the plan was
initially constructed using a dynamic scheduling approach, then there
should be very few dates you should have to change.
