Removing Calendar dates from Project

I am trying to put together a perspective schedule for a project but do not
want actual calendar dates. I have number of days that specific tasks will
take to complete. I would like to start at day 1 and go from there. For
example task A will start on day 1 and go to day 15, task B will start on day
16 and got to 30 etc. Any info would be appreciated.

John,
Sorry, you can't get there from here with Project. Project works with
dates and time spans (durations). The Project Start date can be set to
whatever you want but it has to be a specific point in time. The
timescale above the Gantt Chart can be set to show various forms such
as: 1, 2, 3, etc from the start but each task will always show a
specific date (although Tools/Options/View tab can be used to show only
limited parts of the date).

Why not go ahead and set up your preliminary plan with the best
information you have. You can always use the "Adjust Dates" utility
found on the "Analysis" toolbar to move the whole schedule based on a
new Start date when the plan get firmed up.

Hope this helps.
