How do I remove template edit dots & marks from the top & bottom of Word 2000
documents?

I think you'll have to give a better description of what you're talking
about.

Suzanne,
I created a letter head in MS Word 2000 using a contemporary letter head
template. Documents using the letter head all have a row of vertical dots in
the upper left hand corner & a row of horizontal dots in the lower right hand
corner.
I am assuming these are some kind of edit marks but I can't figure out how
to eliminate them. Naturally, they also print on all documents created.

LA VIE,

Those "dots" are part of the template that you are using to create your
document. Both series of dots are contained within a frame. There is
one frame in the header and one in the footer.

Open the template and then display headers and footers, click on the
frame (area aroun the dots) to select and delete it.
Future letters will not have the dots.

Greg,

How simple! I'm embarassed not to have thought of it. Thanks for the tip.
