Report Errors

When trying to open a report, the following error occurred:

"5 errors occurred when you loaded the form or report.

You loaded a form or report that has controls or properties that microsoft
doesn't recognize and will ignore."

Does anyone know what I can do about this?

You probably have an error with your References. Have a look at Doug

OK, I went to DJ Steele's web page and read about references, but I'm so new
to Access that it all pretty much went over my head. Is there anyone that
can dumb it down for me a little?

From what I read, it sounds to me like the report I'm trying to open is
referencing other "files" which are no longer in the same place or having the
same name. However, I don't think I changed anything since the last time I
opened this report.??

That's entirely possible. I brought it up because it is a major cause of
issues similar to yours. It is quite easy to find if you have a missing or
broken reference:

Open any code window
Go to Tools ... References
see if any are marked as "MISSING"
