report resource hours on a task by week

Is there a way for me to see a resource's forecasted work on a task by week.
I use the reporting feature (To Do Report), but it lists the total work for a
task. In other words, I need to see the amount of work a resource plans to
spend on a task by week.

Hi,

In either of the resource Usage Views that can be shown.
Format Menu, Timescale, set the minor (lowest) scale to be weeks.

Thanks again Jan. After reading your response, I found the resource usage
report that is very helpful.

One other question, how do I get the resource usage view into an excel
workbook? I want to make it look like a timesheet. Or is there a better way
to do this?

You have to cut and paste from the both the right and left part of the
screen and make sure you sync up the field when you paste them into Excel.

I agree, I have been doing it this way for 2 years now. I wished there was
an easier way, but I havn't found one yet.
