Hi,
I am assuming that this question should be posted in this
NG, if not please advise which group this should be asked
in.
I have created a template that includes forms and
modules. I wish to send this template to someone who
knows how to transfer folders from a CD to the C drive
and not too much else, other than starting up WORD.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to create
an "automatic install" procedure that the user can start
just by clicking on something? A Start | Run command
string is acceptable but it has to be valid for different
WORD versions.
I have a "setup" macro and associated form that creates
data files, folders and custom toolbar. This is the
macro I want to initially run. What I am not sure about
is how to start the macro without first storing the
template in the right location and running the "setup"
macro via WORD. I would like the macro to move the
template from the C drive folder to the proper location.
Other than merely sending the template, is there anything
else that I have to take into consideration?
Any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Jerry B.
