Resetting offline status

K

Kim Kragh

Due to my ISP has closed port 135, I can't use my public folders from my
exchange server at home. I have not been able to find information of how to
use other ports to use the exchange public folders - so I will have to live
without them I guess....

The problem is - my Outlook XP thinks my Exchange is offline, even after I
have been in Control Panel -> Mail and deleted the Exchange account.
In this mode it is very slow and does not check mail automatically.

How can I reset Outlook to forget about the Exchange connection? I can't
connect (and get online) and in this mode delete the Exchange account.

/TIA
