resource leveling problem

i published a project to the web and resources filled timesheets then
some got overallocated the problem that when i leveled manually one ot
the tasks got splitted and shifted to after 50yrs..knowing that i
tried all options of leveling but didn't work..also i had two resources
with the same information exactly but both were leveled in tow
different ways i could't understand..so please help me understand the
mechanisim of leveling

Hi,

Probably you have a resource with a limited availability in time.
When you level and some work of the resource gets pushed beyond the end of
its availability, Leveling keeps on llooking for an availability till the
end of the calendar (31/12/2049)

thanks for the answer, i've never know that the calendar ends on
2049..but when i assigned the resources they were all available and not
working on other projects..what about assigning two resources with the
same information exactly but each was leveled in a different way..

Well, if their work wa simultneous, one haed to be delayed isn't it?
