Resource leveling

hi

i have one project with resources and 4 others projects witch shares
resources from first one. Let's say In project A all tasks finished and in
project B there are more tasks to do. Now i need to add one more task to
project A. When i open all 5 projects in one project and try to level
resources the new added task remain where it is, that is before the current
date (because it is linked with the last project a task witch finished long
time ago)

How to force that new task jump after current date when leveling resources?

Hi Mindaugas,

Before leveling, open project A, select the task, Tools, Update Project,
Reschedule uncompleted work...
Best process is as follows
Clear Leveling
Reschedule uncompleted work...
Level Now

Several ways, but the one that is most consistent with the way you'd track
if you'd remembered to include that task in the plan when you first set it
up, is after you've added it, run the "Reschedule Uncompleted Work" tool in
the Tracking, Update Project, menu to pull it up to start the first workday
after the current date.
