Resource Name

I am currently using a resource pool for all of our staff. When assigning
resource to a task the drop down list that presents all of the names seems to
be sorted by id number. Is it possible to update this drop down list to
appear in alphabetical order instead, as our list is very long.

Open the resource pool file and display the Resource Sheet view. Go to
Project/Sort/Sort By. Use "Name" as the sort criteria and make sure the
option is selected to Permanently renumber resources. Hit "Sort" and you
should be all set.
