resource pool links

hi all,

when i copy working master/sub projects, the newer projects are frustrating
me
because they continue to want to use the older pool files.

it started with me having dupe items in my pool (resource usage view).
then i did something & all my assignemnts went missing (same view).

i've tried breaking the links thru the tools menu but am apparently doing
something
wrong.

any help with this would really be appreciated... thanks

Chu,

I have had this issue as well with pools. It is best to "break links" from
the individual project files, rather than from the Master Project file. I am
not sure if that is what you are doing, but that has been my problem when I
have encountered this issue.

Then relink the individual project files to the new resource pool file. You
can then open the Master with the links properly redirected.

I am not sure what is happening with the "missing or duplicates". Perhaps
others can shed some light on this?
